One Year of Nalo Seed: 21 Websites, Coast to Coast, and Just Getting Started
One Year of Nalo Seed
We just celebrated Nalo Seed's first birthday, and we are still a little amazed by everything that happened in twelve months.

What year one looked like
In our first year we launched 21 websites and served clients coast to coast across retail, service, events, non-profit, consulting, and more. Some were brand new businesses finding their voice for the first time. Others were established teams that just needed one partner they could hand things to and trust to get it done.
The part we love most is not the count. It is hearing that our clients are thriving because of the support we provide in tech, operations, and marketing. When they grow, we get to be excited right alongside them. That is the whole reason we started this.
What we learned
If we had to name one lesson from the year, it is this: momentum comes from doing the reps.
Building a business is a lot like training your body. You do not get stronger from one big effort. You get stronger from showing up on the ordinary days, adding a little load, and staying consistent long enough for it to compound. And just as important, you have to stay aligned. Growth without the right foundation underneath it just breaks down somewhere you cannot see until it is a problem.
We saw that play out at our first Grow with Nalo Seed conference this summer. The founders who moved the furthest were not the ones with the best ideas. They were the ones who showed up, did the uncomfortable work while the right people were in the room, and left with a real plan.
One attendee, Nancy Burditt, said it better than we could:
I had the opportunity to join Nalo Seed's co-working conference focused on shaping our own business model. Being able to sit with thought leaders and work in groups to figure out the sticking points in our workflows. Now that's the conference I want to attend and invest my time and money in.
Here is to year two
We are just getting started. There is more coming: more events, more tools we are excited to put in your hands, and more Austin businesses to help build.
If you are local, come find us at Capitol Keys, the networking night we sponsor for founders and professionals. And if you have been sitting on an idea, this is your sign to take the first rep.
Thank you for an incredible first year. Here is to year two.
